Five Impressions of The Soul
- The soul desires to be acknowleged by the brain. For the soul to impress upon and influence life, it must have the brain’s permission.
- The soul has an agenda but will not interfere with free will.
- The soul seeks an agreement to perceive reality with the brain.
- The extent of discord felt in life directly correlates with that agreement.
- Becoming the observer of your life is a form of mastery.
Written content is not subjective to the reader but the reader is to the content written.
My ability to write confidently about my soul is a result of having met my soul. How I met my soul is the story I am here to tell. Having a deep desire to learn, I am one to call a self-development junkie. I’ve come to believe without advanced studies, the brain sets the absolute truths for reality. I spent the past 15 years changing past beliefs to get to this belief and It worked.
The impetus of my studies initially began with understanding thoughts. If thoughts triggered emotions, then what triggered thoughts? What came first? The chicken or the egg? My interest in the mechanics of the brain led me on a journey to understanding my behaviors and mental processes so I closely observed my life, documenting my thoughts and emotions along the way. And then I became my own field of study. A self-diagnostics platform of sorts.
Programmed to Deny Thyself
My inability to show compassion toward another was never a question. However, the inability to show the same to me was. As human beings, our natural tendency to self-care with love and compassion should be unquestionable but is at the forefront of religion as a form of damnation. When you are told to always think of others first, you put yourself last. This is the evolution of the brain which now feels inferior when creating thoughts around self-love and compassion. It’s no coincidence that the brain has zero problem helping others see the light of day while keeping itself in the dark. The evolution of our brain is for survival against the enemy. But who or what is the enemy? Thoughts. Which is also the weapon of choice.
Interestingly, there seemed to be a pattern, a purposeful placement to the order of my books. In retrospect, each book led to the next, and without reading the prior, the next less influenceable. Which leads to the most bizarre of conclusions. Each book left an impression allowing me a better understanding of the written content that followed. Ultimately, within the pages of 88 books came an amalgamating theory that the soul was dependent on my every thought about myself, others and how I viewed reality. A continuation of concepts stemming from qualitative behaviors to quantum physics opened the door to eventually meeting my soul.
- Qualitative Behavior
- Psychology
- Spirituality
- The Origin of Religion
- Quantum physics
- The Laws of Physics
Initially, as I stated, I began my research to discover if thoughts were triggered and by what. The desire to know my brain and its processing prowess motivated each read and that’s when the magic happened. After dissecting the bible which led to contextual criticism of the gospels, absolute truth was under the microscope. The idea that a set of beliefs formed over time and known as absolute truth were derived from content that contradicts the core of the belief is where individual thoughts play a major role.
The psychology of our minds and the major influences that transcend our minds leaving impressions is what shapes beliefs. Our beliefs create our realities.
The Laws of Physics
Physics is not an easy read. It took three reads and almost a year before I could grasp the concept of Stephen Hawking’s book The Grand Design. Not surprisingly, had I not read the origin of religion, completed the contextual criticism, and delve into quantum physics, the laws of physics would still be a black hole in my brain. Eventually, I gained a fondness for all things physics and a fan of Stephen Hawking’s work.
“Do we as humans possess the ability to change our reality simply by changing our thoughts?
Seems simple enough to disprove but If I think a situation is bad, in my reality, it’s bad. That’s absolute truth to my brain until I tell it otherwise. However, telling your brain one thing and leaving a lasting impression is another. Affirmations only work when the brain believes they work.
Lasting Impressions on the Brain

I’ve come to understand that the brain demands a lot of attention. It has evolved with ultimate power to perceive things and identify emotions about those things. The brain holds the key to reality as you know it and doesn’t require permission when making life-altering decisions in life to change reality.
The brain familiarizes reality into a comfort zone. Reality changes when your brain is no longer dependent upon familiarity. How you see life, in general, is based on general knowledge or advanced. Everything we know about reality is solely dependent on my brain’s interpretation and how it interprets is based on general tools or advanced.
Think positive and your life will produce positive results.
There is truth to that. However, positive affirmations only work when the brain knows there’s an end game to the thought. A solution to a dilemma is more impactful to the brain than trying to convince the brain that there is no dilemma and life is just dandy. The brain knows when you feed it affirmations that do not align with your core beliefs. For me, this type of power over my reality held by a muscle in my skull was worth the effort to get to know and understand.
Meditations, mantras, chanting, praying, and the likes, I did it all! But without an impression to the brain that any of it was working, I was left with unchanged core beliefs. Somewhere in my subconscious, I didn’t believe any of these methods really worked, at least not on me. There’s that inability to self-love again. But because of that, many of them did not work, for me. That’s when I read about the psychology of the brain and its effects on my emotions.
Are emotions simply reactions to thoughts? With having a better understanding of thoughts was my brain equipped to self-love over loathing? If I were to see the world based around politics or religion or feed into either making one or the other as absolute truth then my brain would certainly become familiar with self-loathing. The only way I could change my reality was to give my brain better tools for interpretation so it could perceive the world in a better light. I dove into a sea of knowledge and found myself no longer swimming in a fishbowl but an ocean of possibilities. Brainwashing happens when impressions of the brain construct reality through confusion believing its factual. The oxymoron is you cannot truly conquer your brain with the brain but the soul can, with your permission. But first, you have to truly believe you have a soul and it wants nothing more than to leave a lasting impression on the brain.
Hello, Soul!
While reading “The Seat of The Soul” written by American physicist, Gary Zukov, I felt something shift inside of me. The only way I can describe what this shift felt like is to compare it to one of those “AHA!” moments. Some may describe it as that moment when you become aware of something you weren’t aware of before but now feel like you should have been aware all along. Page after page, I had these aha moments which obviously left an impression on my brain. It was as if I was remembering something. Yet, I couldn’t recall exactly what the memory was. I knew of a soul but had always separated the soul from who I was as a person. To me, the soul was just a passenger in my life. Truthfully, I had always felt that if my soul had an agenda there was nothing I could do to help fulfill that agenda. Then I remembered not to depend on my set beliefs and be open to possibilities. Expand my brain’s ability to perceive there is a soul’s agenda and allow for a new perspective. I will simply state, once my brain accepted this new tool the aha moments came fast and furious and the memory I once couldn’t recall hit me like a brick wall – I was reminded that my soul’s agenda is my life’s agenda but to help my soul fulfill the journey, a relationship between my brain and the soul was necessary.
THE SELF – THE OBSERVER:
How to Become an Observer of life

Visualization: A journey from the soul’s perspective to the brain’s.
It is a clear night and you see a full moon. Look at the moon closely. Now, look to the right of the moon.
What do you see?
If you kept your eyes closed, let me remind you that your eyes saw nothing. Yet, you could "see" the moon. So what actually saw the moon? A memory occurred along with set beliefs of what you believe the moon looks like on a clear night. That's all from the brain's perspective.
What did you see when you looked to the right?
If you saw nothing, just blackness or nothingness, that's the soul's perspective. If you saw a star or anything made of madder, that's the brain's perspective. The brain will create familiar images for your mind's eye. Allowing the brain to fill in that blackness with something magnificent and unfamiliar, is the agenda of the soul.
To become an observer of your life you become the master of your life. As an observer you disconnect from the emotions triggered by thoughts. Your set beliefs are disempowered and open for change.
The Self and The Soul
The “self” and so”soul” are one and the same. The “soul” is the constant observer of your “self” seeking to influence emotions with compassion and understanding. The “self” observes the brain’s interpretations and is the gateway to the “soul.” The “soul” will never interfere with free will nor with the brain’s interpretations. The “self” succumbs to the brain’s interpretations and its reality. The “soul” is seeking to expand reality beyond the brain’s capabilities.
SAY HELLO TO YOUR SOUL
Quietly and in your mind say “hello.”.
Most likely, the word “hello” was in your own voice unless you intentionally tried for a different voice. Your ears obviously did not hear “hello.” So, what did? Your soul heard “hello.” as the observer of self and you have now introduced your “self” to your soul. You’re welcome.
The Soul seeks to make an agreement with your brain to allow yourself to believe in more than you believe.
The Soul seeks to establish a harmonious agreement with the brain, Why? The soul is on a journey and the soul has intentions for that journey. Fortunately, or unfortunately for the soul, you, as an observer, can either participate or hinder the intentions of the soul through the limitations of the brain.
The brain has its own agenda, and due to the evolution of the brain, the brain’s intentions are to hinder the evolution of the soul. Free will hinders the soul from interfering and the brain disempowers the soul’s intentions.
Plainly speaking, the soul cannot nor will ever disrespect your free will. The brain will dismiss the existence of the soul to maintain full control of reality. To fully understand why the brain would not need to disempower the soul, you will first need to understand the brain’s motive. Reality.
The reality, as you know it.
The dismissal of the soul’s existence is critical to the reality of the brain’s existence. The brain requires only to know ‘self’. The processes of the brain, thoughts, and visuals are not palpable and controllable by the mechanics of the brain so, in order for the brain to impress upon your life, it needs to sustain its purpose in your life. This is very important.
The brain is the influencer of reality. The Brain interprets the outside world, internally. To inform the brain that the soul has some influencing intentions of its own disempowers the brain’s purpose. Anything that is not the brain’s doing diminishes the brain’s power over reality. For me to tell my brain that it should acknowledge my soul’s impressions, be influenced by my soul’s perceptions, must have felt like the brain’s genocide. My point is, this is not easy to do and I could not have been successful had I not read my mind into a new way of thinking. I had to confuse my brain’s logic with the knowledge it otherwise would never perceive and then relearn the brain’s logic. I retrained my brain to believe in powerful yet intangible and invisible. I had to convince my brain the soul’s intention with how reality is perceived as less a threat and more a tool to create realities on a larger than life as we know it.
Observing the invisible agreement between infinite intelligence and learned logic is a form of mastery.
I can attest that I have spent the majority of my life not knowing the influences of the soul because I simply could not feel the impressions of the soul. I depended solely upon my brain’s directive and order in my life. If there were a shortcut to heaven on earth, the brain will not draw that map for you because that path walks alongside the soul’s intentions. Period.
The soul’s existence has nothing to do with the brain’s purpose.
The soul is the brain’s most reliable companion!
The day I acknowledged the importance of the relationship between the soul and the brain, I felt the first impression of the soul. I became aware my soul has influenced my life but not in the way my brain was able to clearly interpret. I now know the difference between my brain’s influence and my soul’s. This is something that can not be collectively known but individually realized. However, the fact that I am writing this should tell you the power my soul has over my life although it took many years of brain convincing before it would ever be realized by myself. The soul is the brain’s most reliable resource for interpreting reality. If you can get your brain to believe in the soul’s agenda then you are well on your way to a harmonious existence of well-being with an uncanny ability to perceive life on a much broader, and much grander spectrum.
The brain wants to remain the central hub, so let it be so! The more information you give the brain, the more tools it has to interpret the impressions of the soul.
Be the constant observer of your life
I should state that the brain and soul may fall out of the agreement. A clear indicator there’s disagreement is internal discord. So be a constant observer of your thoughts and emotions. Becoming the observer comes with the ability to show your “self” some compassion. The brain will resist compassion because compassion is of the soul. The soul is always influencing the brain waiting to make an impression so stay the course of the soul.
Everything depends on the agreement made between the soul and the brain, and the bridge is your “self.”
Final thoughts: I knew I had a soul but being able to feel the impressions of my soul wasn’t easy. Becoming an observer of my life makes it easier. I am aware that my ability to perceive this world as infinite is limited by the finite of my brain. I also know that with every bit of new knowledge, absolute truth is diminished. The only way to fulfill the soul’s agenda is through a broadening of perceptions and the elimination of truth and in that process, a reverence for all of life exists.
That’s all I have to say about that.
